Horrorshow

Horrorshow, made up of vocalist Solo (Nick Bryant-Smith) and producer Adit (Adit Gauchan), have come a long way from a friendship formed in a school yard of Sydney’s inner west.

They started making music together as teenagers and signed with Elefant Traks in 2008 at just 19. Since then, they’ve been at the forefront of a generation of artists who have taken Australian hip hop to new heights with albums The Grey Space (2008), Inside Story (2009), King Amongst Many (2013), Bardo State (2017) and New Normal (2019).

The evocativeness of Adit’s musicality and raw honesty of Solo’s storytelling has opened up the duo’s fan base beyond the traditional hip hop crowd, with swathes of both women and men flocking to live shows and an inclusive range of ages and cultural backgrounds connecting with the music and the message of Horrorshow.
